The safety grate was constructed to keep people and their pets safe and out of the Easy-Well™. It was built to withstand the weight of standard foot traffic.

 It features a safety ladder that is designed to assist people in emergency escape situations and is connected to the back of the Easy-Well™. It can be used for egress or ingress.
